12 Apr World Book Week
We recently celebrated a fantastic World Book Week in our primary school, filled with fun, creativity, and a shared love of reading.
Throughout the week, the children took part in a wide range of activities, including exciting Kahoot quizzes, designing their own book cover posters, and many more engaging tasks. One of the highlights was a special display where students added a note about their favourite book, creating a wonderful collection of recommendations for everyone to enjoy.
We rounded off the week with a fluency competition, where pupils showcased their reading skills with confidence and expression.
It was a truly enjoyable and memorable week for all, and it was wonderful to see such enthusiasm for books and reading across the school.
