30 Apr Lá Glas Celebration for Seachtain na Gaeilge
Our school was a sea of green as we celebrated Lá Glas as part of Seachtain na Gaeilge. It was wonderful to see all the children and staff dressed up and taking such pride in the occasion.
Throughout the week, there was a fantastic effort from pupils to use more Irish than usual in their conversations. This helped create a real sense of pride and confidence in the language across the school.
The atmosphere was full of energy and joy, with céilí dancing, Irish songs, and poems echoing through the corridors and classrooms.
It was a truly special week that showed how alive and thriving the Irish language is in our school community.
