09 Sep A Wonderful New Beginning – Our First Autism Class
We are delighted to announce the opening of our first Autism class, marking a very special milestone for our school community. Our class teacher, Ms. Fitzgibbon, together with our dedicated SNAs, Ms. Glen, Ms. O’Sullivan and Ms. Molloy have worked incredibly hard to create a welcoming, nurturing and enriched learning environment for our pupils. The classroom has been thoughtfully designed with a range of engaging learning areas, as well as calm and quiet spaces where children can take time to relax, regulate and feel comfortable throughout their day. A huge thank you must also go to our caretaker, Mr. Kelly, who played a huge role in getting the classroom ready and helping to bring the vision for this wonderful space to life. It has been lovely to see the children settling into their new surroundings so well. They are beginning to explore, learn, play and build relationships in their new classroom, and we are excited to watch them grow and flourish as the year progresses. We are so proud to open the doors to our first Autism class and look forward to all the wonderful learning, friendships and happy memories that lie ahead. A very warm welcome to our new class!
