6th Class in Room 2 have continued learning how to write procedures.
This week, we wrote instructions on how to carve a pumpkin!
Using a real pumpkin, Ms. Gale listened to all the children as they instructed her how to carve it. They used their knowledge of imperative verbs and sequential words to make sure the pumpkin turned out nicely. We named our new classmate ‘Spooks’.
After this, we wrote our first draft. Once it was corrected, we finally moved on to publishing our final draft using pumpkin writing templates. They all turned out so well and they have added a spooky festive feel to our school. Happy Halloweeen!
